February 26, 2010 - ICPM announced today that Janet Renae Miller, an employee of the State of Nebraska Corn Board, is a 2010 winner of the Administrative Management Society (AMS) Scholarship for CM certification. Ms. Miller was selected by a committee, based on three criteria: eligibility to complete the CM Program, two letters of business/professional support for a scholarship award, and a short essay on her motivation for becoming CM certified. The scholarship award amount of $395 US offsets a portion of the cost of the US or international CM bundle.
AMS was the founding sponsor of the Certified Administrative Manager (C.A.M.) certification, an advanced level certification for administrative managers, which ICPM acquired in 1995. Upon termination of AMS in 2007, it donated funds to ICPM to create an AMS legacy to support management and leadership development through the funding of scholarships. The first scholarships were awarded in 2009.
Additional 2010 AMS Scholarships are available.
Submissions will be accepted through April 30, 2010 and scholarships will be awarded by May 10, 2010. Click here for more details.
